Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,205 per week

Certification Details ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Job Details Specialty is CVICU 601000. Contract length is 13 weeks. Job Requirements More than two years of experience in CVICU is required. Must have skills include IABP, CRRT, Fresh OHS from the OR experience. RNs are required to titrate drips. Schedule Information Shifts are 12 hours, 7 days a week. 2 weekend shifts per pay period are required; this could be consecutive weekends but is at the discretion of Nursing Leadership. Unit Specific Information There are 12 beds in the unit. Patient ratios are 1:2, or 1:1 based on acuity. Additional Details Common diagnoses/Types of patients include AMI, CAD, PVD. Common titratable &/or set rate drips include Dex, Propofol, Dop, Neo, Epi, Levo, Insulin, Cardene. Both Charge Nurse and House Supervisor roles are present. Nurse aids are sometimes available on the unit. Hospitalist in-house. Respiratory Therapist is available department-specific but may share with the ICU. Equipment available includes vents, Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, HiFlow. RNs are responsible for reading strips. Holiday requirements apply. Call or standby requirement as per contract, max 3 per 12 weeks. Floating requirements as needed based on department skill needs to MS/Tele/PCU/ICU- both campuses. Scrub color/dress code is Navy Blue. Unit/Department specific orientation is provided. Impella experience is desired. Traveler must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to signing the contract.
