Description
Position Summary
Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings.
Essential Functions

  • Installs, repairs, and maintains pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on all plumbing systems.
  • Diagnoses plumbing problems and takes appropriate action to correct deficiencies. Plumbing includes supply lines, sewer lines, grease traps, plumbing fixtures, toilets, boilers, hot water heaters, etc.
  • Install new additional lines, fixtures or related equipment as needed.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, work sites and shops.
  • Operates a variety of hand power tools in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Understands and complies with Facilities Department and Casino policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience
5 year's plumbing experience.
State of Oregon Journeyman Plumber license
Computer Skills

Certificates & Licenses
Valid driver's License preferred
Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration or risk of electrical shock and other potential hazardous materials and substances. Some work may take place on the gaming floor. Occasionally the work environment will be in locations exposed to smoke and its associated affects. May be exposed to scented air environment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
Working Conditions
Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
