Certification Details Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, Fire Card, IV Certification, RDMS Certificate Job Details The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Responsible for providing quality imaging. Works in support of the Radiologist providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS. Job Requirements Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH. A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required. One year of acute clinical radiology experience. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required. Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT. Current BCLS (AHA) required. Proficient computer skills. Additional Details Required - Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification Valid Picture ID (State Drivers License, Passport, or State ID Card) American Heart Association only. ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP required for certain positions as per department requirements. Proof of current license Primary Source Verification IV Certification (LVN/LPN) FIRE CARD (LA City facilities only - EHMC & SOH) MAB is required for ER and Psych Sonographer - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Certificate Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam and Color Blind Testing Online required within 1 year of start.
