G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join its team in White Plains, NY .

Summary

The Clinical professional is responsible for delivering high quality evidence-based assessment and treatment and training, and promoting high standards of evidence-based training and practice among trainees and staff. The clinical professional is expected to perform direct clinical, training, supervision, and consultation duties in addition to administrative duties. The Clinical Professional will ensure that their clinical professional duties run efficiently and cost-effectively. Moreover, they will serve as an ambassador for the company in their communications and actions inside and out. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. Salary is commensurate with degree type and years of experience.

Responsibilities:

As a clinical professional, the clinical professional conducts revenue compensated service requirements that include but are not limited to individual/family/couples/group patient sessions, individual/school/agency/corporation consulting, coaching or sessions, workshops/training sessions, telephone screenings, or testing and evaluations. Toward these duties, the clinical professional is expected to appropriately maintain patient medical records, administrative paperwork, and perform all billing and collection duties in a timely and accurate manner. The clinical professional is also expected to maintain telephone communication with patients, referrants, and other parties involved in a timely manner and is expected to make-up missed sessions when possible by rescheduling patients not seen, as close to their designated missed appointment as possible.

  • 24 45-minute Revenue Generating Clinical Service requirement units per week for a total of 47 weeks (RG SUs)
  • Conduct individual, family, parenting, and group sessions;
  • Provide direct CBT and/or DBT clinical services
  • Provide agency/school consultations and conduct trainings (as determined by the Director of Consultation Services and Co-Founders).

Supervision and Training Responsibilities

  • The clinical professional is required to contribute at least 1 general hour of supervision per week as determined by the Director of Training and if assigned, to attend monthly supervisor meetings and complete tasks and duties related to supervision.
  • The clinical professionals supervisory responsibilities involve, but are not limited to, individual and/or group clinical supervision as well as other training and teaching activities at the company including talks or workshops.
  • The clinical professional may receive 1 hour of weekly supervision by a senior staff member up to one year or until the client judges that the clinical professional no longer requires supervision.

Qualifications:

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Competency in clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment is required. This involves didactic training and formally supervised clinical experience over at least a 3-year period with multiple clients in understanding, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating psychopathological disorders.
  • Competency in CBT is required. Competency involves didactic training in CBT as well as formally supervised clinical experience over at least a 2-year period with multiple clients in CBT.
  • Competency in DBT is strongly preferred. This involves didactic training in DBT as well as formally supervised clinical experience over at least a 1-year period with multiple clients in DBT.
  • Experience treating a range of disorders and ages.
  • NY State License is current and in good standing
  • Strong clinical skills and team orientation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build relationships with staff and other professionals
  • Ability to act in accordance with the clients mission

Education

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical, Combined School-Clinical Psychology, School or Counseling Psychology highly preferred.
  • Master of Social Work (MSW); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Compensation:

  • Salary is commensurate with degree type and years of experience.
