E-Commerce Web Analytics Sr. Analyst

JOB PURPOSE
The E-Commerce Web Analytics Sr. Analyst is responsible for analyzing website data, user behavior, and purchase pathways to identify strategic insights and implement activities to increase customer conversion rates and improve website performance. They will be effective at translating insights from the data to create easily understood narratives for business stakeholders. The E-Commerce Analyst will also be responsible for proactively monitoring and reporting on KPIs, as well as identifying usability improvement opportunities. The E-Commerce Analyst's day-to-day responsibilities will require the individual to have working knowledge of web tracking tools (Google analytics, Adobe Analytics), visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau), web optimization (A/B & Multivariate Web Testing), and data processing & automation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for the core business's eCommerce data and analytics insights.
- Create a sustainable utm/media tracking process to assess media and campaign performance as it relates to customer behavior on the web, and the opportunities to improve efficiencies.
- Develop and deliver reports from web platforms and queries from databases that summarize insights for review by management. Inclusive of but not limited to: conversion tracking, lead generation, and cross channel interaction.
- Build and maintain daily ETL processes & associated dashboards to provide insights that will enhance users ecommerce experience.
- Facilitate meetings to communicate data analysis findings to team members.
- Familiar with Google Tag Manager a plus.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to manage advanced analytics requests tied to web properties.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
- Bachelor's degree required (focus on Business Intelligence or Data Science a plus).
- 3-5 years of experience in a data analytics role.
- Working day-to-day with Web Tracking Tools (Google Analytics (GA4),Adobe Analytics), Data Visualization Tools (PowerBI, Tableau), Tag Managers (Google, Adobe), Data Analysis & Automation Languages (Python, SQL), Web Testing Tools (AB Tasty, Adobe Target), and Product Analytics Tools (Contentsquare, FullStory)
- Working knowledge of business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience working with third-party agencies.
- Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities.
