Certification Details Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification under Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required. State Required: Current Medical Radiographer license or Temporary Medical Radiographer as defined by 16-006.04 Nebraska Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure - 18 months after date of issuance and not renewable. Registration or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required or RCIS required. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. Job Details Cardiovascular Technologist - responsible for performing a range of technical skills during various cardiovascular procedures, following organizational policies and established professional standards of care. Interventional Radiologic Technologist - completes specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards, maintains accountability for examination quality. Job Requirements High school degree or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited two-year program for Cardiovascular Technicians or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists. Graduation from an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology. Schedule Information Some weekends and Holidays, on call shifts Additional Details Cardiac Cath Lab Tech or RT - Would take either one of these. Position accountable for using specialized knowledge, judgment, and critical thinking skills necessary to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
