Job Title: CT/Radiology Technologist Full time Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated CT/Radiology Technologist to join our medical imaging team. As a CT/Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, with a focus on computed tomography (CT) scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities: Conduct CT scans and other radiological procedures following established protocols. Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality images are obtained. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure accurate diagnoses. Evaluate images for technical quality and perform basic image analysis. Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as needed. Stay informed about advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuing education. Qualifications: Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license for CT. CPR/BLS certification. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety. Experience: Previous experience as a CT/Radiology Technologist preferred. Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System).
