Summary
The HVAC Field Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of HVAC technicians and related workers in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
Essential Functions
- Oversee the installation and various aspects of new HVAC systems, ensuring all installations are executed correctly.
- Establish and adhere to safety procedures, providing leadership and guidance to the team to promote efficiency and accountability.
- Supervise and complete the installation and startup of all HVAC systems, guaranteeing proper installation.
- Champion the value of teamwork and accountability within the team.
- Adhere to and enforce company processes, procedures, and safety policies.
- Follow instructions from management and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Oversee job site preparation and cleanup.
- Address and follow up on client concerns promptly and effectively.
Required Education and Experience
- 10 years of commercial HVAC expertise.
- Proficient in ductwork and piping layout and installation.
- Skilled in refrigeration piping, wiring, and startup.
- Ability to think quickly and adapt to everyday challenges.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a minimum OSHA10 certification; OSHA30 preferred.
