WHAT YOU'LL DO Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will support the complete life cycle of the Boston office's Consulting Team recruiting efforts. This includes event planning and execution, candidate pipeline development, marketing and branding related activities, planning and participating in the interview process, candidate communication and relationship building, and all conversion activities. You will work with the office Recruiting Managing Director and Partners (RPs), Recruiting Directors (RDs), recruiting directors at BCG core schools, and regional recruiting teams to lead and execute the annual recruiting pipeline across OneBCG, entry-level core business consulting (Associates and Consultants) from both campus and experienced hire pools, as well as support Experienced Hire, Digital, and Analytics recruiting efforts for the Boston office. YOU'RE GOOD AT * Manage logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and events planning, through screening, interviewing, and conversion, including conversion/welcome weekends and the summer intern program * Co-own interview schedules throughout the year (interviewer swaps, candidate communication, email logistics) * Team with the broader Talent Acquisition team on the office recruiting process across OneBCG * Participate in management of the office’s recruiting cadre commitments and performance tracking processes (staff North America events and interviews with the right mix of consulting staff, ensure commitments are upheld, manage swap process, etc.) * Cultivate relationships with candidates, following up with all inquiries while developing BCG presence and positive experiences; cultivate relationships with campus career services, developing BCG’s brand on campus * Collect and analyze information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitor and analyze the competitive environment * Drive conversion activities for offerees (ideation, planning, execution) * Participate in management of the office Associate and Consultant summer internship programs, including coordination and execution of orientation, case staffing, performance feedback, affiliation events, and conversion efforts * Ensure recruiting records, global database, and metrics are up to date and accurate * Use the database and other tools to manage data and generate correspondence, reports, interview and event invitations * Lead and execute strategic projects as needed​​ YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Education and experience: * Bachelor’s degree required * 2-4 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required * Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization * Flexibility and some travel required, particularly around peak recruiting season and planning weeks; Attendance at key evening and weekend events required Functional and soft skills: * High customer service and relationship orientation - strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, want to deliver great results at all times, able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates * Excellent time and project management skills. You have clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once, with great attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to perform under stress * Organizational skills to assist with all the behind-the-scenes magic while providing creative solutions, driving our high-level customer service, and positively impacting our recruiting efforts * A strong intellectual curiosity. You take initiative and can work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information * Display a high degree of flexibility in a demanding, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment * Analytical proficiency; facility with numbers * Ability to work overtime during peak recruiting periods Technical skills: * ​​​​​​Strong computer and database skills: Outlook, Word, Excel (preferred), and PowerPoint *Candidates will be considered at the Specialist or Senior Specialist level, depending on experience.* YOU'LL WORK WITH You’ll be working with a closely knit team of Talent Acquisition members in the Boston office reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager. You'll be supporting various programs and working with the other Talent Acquisition team members across the Southeast system to back each other up and help each other out when things get extra busy or when someone is out of the office. The team is very collaborative and enjoys learning and mentoring each other. Your manager will be a great resource for support and troubleshooting and will provide developmental guidance and support as you grow your career at BCG. You’ll work closely with your local office team as well as various Talent Acquisition teams across North America.
