Certification Details BLS, ACLS, PALS required. TNCC and ATCN preferred. ENPC not allowed to replace PALS Cert. Job Details A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced ER/Emergency Room RNs for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Also must have an active AZ license or compact. Job Requirements Must have 2 years of ER experience. Hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC. Active AZ license or compact required. MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF TRAUMA LEVEL 1 EXPERIENCE; WILL SCREEN 8 MONTHS. MUST HAVE CERNER EXPERIENCE. NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS. Candidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. Must complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes (exceptions apply). Must be competent in maintaining sterile field. Schedule Information Contract length: 13 weeks. Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 1p-1a. Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month, at unit discretion. Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts on the floor. Unit Specific Information Unit: ED / Trauma. Charge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs - will task or have light patient load. Tele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read strips. Vents: Managed by RT. Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, Pharmacist in ER 10hrs/day. RT 24/7: Yes. Additional Details Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trauma, Burns and Peds transferred out. IV Team: Core RNs are US trained. Sitter support is provided by 4-PCTs. The hospital has a high volume of psych holds.
