Job Summary:

  • Provide care and management of patients with anxiety, depression, mental illness, and detoxification from alcohol and drugs on the inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.
  • Work closely with care team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplaincy, counselors and techs.
  • Coordinate care in collaboration with patients, family, physicians and other nursing staff.
  • Identify patient and family learning needs and develop an educational plan.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal, oral and written communication skills.

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate of Registered Nursing Education program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • State RN License and/or meeting licensure criteria
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification

Work Schedule

  • Hours: 7:00am-7:30pm, 7:00pm-7:30am; 48hrs/2wks

Pay

  • $33.50 - $46.50 per hour
