About the Role

As a Home Health Aide, you'll provide essential care and support to patients in their own homes. You'll assist with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Household Chores: Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.

Medication Reminders: Remind patients to take medications as prescribed.

Vital Signs: Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.

Transportation: Assist with transportation to medical appointments or errands.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred but not always required

Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compassionate and empathetic demeanor

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
