The Coordinating Director – PaTTAN System is responsible for the coordination of the PaTTAN system with regards to fiscal operations and systemic alignment of technical assistance across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania on behalf of the Bureau of Special Education at the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The salary range for this position is $155,000-$180,000 (based on previous professional experience).

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Provides leadership and statewide coordination to support a coordinated statewide PaTTAN System at the request of the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). Coordinates and monitors PaTTAN budgets to ensure alignment with IDEA Grant B application. Serves as PaTTAN System Liaison to stakeholder groups such as PAIU, SEAP, PEAL, HUNE, and the Arc. Coordinates the alignment of technical assistance for equitable opportunities across Pennsylvania as aligned with the Bureau of Special Education priorities. Coordinates logistical consideration among the three (3) PaTTAN offices, including but not limited to training offerings, conference schedules, prioritizing work, and resources. Supports the creation of long-term and short-term plans and ensures efficiency and reduction of duplication of efforts among the PaTTAN system. Serves as liaison between the Bureau of Special Education and the three (3) PaTTAN offices to ensure consistent clear communication in a timely manner. Assume any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director. Education/Experience Requirements: Master’s Degree required.

Doctorate Degree is preferred

Minimum of ten (10) years of professional education experience

Minimum of three (3) years of progressive educational administrative and supervisory experience

PDE Superintendent Letter of Eligibility or PDE Principal Certification

Budgeting experience at organizational or department level

Experience with OSEP federal grant programmatic and fiscal requirements

Project management experience
