You Belong Here in the Outpatient Clinic! The Specialty Nurse will help with various outpatient clinic iniatives and support in the day-to-day operations, provide resources to the homecare staff, sees patients independently, assists the podiatrist in the clinic, and assists with ordering specialty footware and supplies among other responsibilities. Strong communication and management skills are preferred. The right candidate will posess 2-3 years of clinical / wound care experience. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
About Johns Hopkins Medicine:
  • BSN or MSN preferred. Must be from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is required.
  • CPR/BLS certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
  • Experienced Registered Nurse with wound care experience preferred.
  • Wound Care certification preferred.
  • The right candidate will posess 2-3 years of clinical / wound care experience.
  • Experience with wound care recommended, diabetic foot care a plus.
  • Foot care certification recommended.
  • Will work as part of a multi-disciplinary limb salvage team.
  • Mostly out patient clinic support with some inpatient required for complex dressing changes.
