Job Description

We are looking for Internal Installation Manager who will directly report to President. Oversee the internal chute and compactor installation teams in the local (and national, when required) markets, to ensure safe practices are always employed, that all jobs are completed in an efficient manner and provide an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule installations in a timely, safe and efficient manner,
  • Oversee crew supervisors (as well as direct work with employees, as needed) to ensure installations are completed safely and on time.
  • Communicate with customers and employees to ensure clear expectations for every job
  • Manage/coach/train employees on best practices, accurate paperwork, timely submittals
  • Works with company president and other managers for strategic planning to grow capacity and quality.
  • Makes recommendations to improve capacity and quality
  • Ensures culture is supported throughout all teams
  • Works with HR to ensure employees are developed and trained, fully engaged and understand and align with corporate culture and goals.
Requirements
  • Construction experience, 5+ years
  • Project management expertise, 3-5 years
  • People management, 3-5 years,
  • Training and development
  • OSHA 30
  • Forklift certified

Work Environment

This job operates on various external jobsites. Noise levels can be moderate to loud. Eye, ear and foot protection is required. Temperature ranges vary greatly.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, use fine motor skills to manipulate hand tools and small items. For safety must be able to see and hear. The employee is also frequently required to stand, walk and do some lifting and moving of up to 25+ pounds.

Skills & Qualifications

Supervision, coaching, managing processes, process improvement, strategic planning and HANDS ON as well as supervisory knowledge is required.

Travel

Regular travel throughout the DMV area and jobsites within driving distance. Could require national travel as contracts or distributor training requires.
