About This Job
We are seeking a Licensed Esthetician for our team at our Waterfront Spa location on the Vancouver Columbia River waterfront. This position starts part-time, 20-25 hours per week. Schedule is flexible but requires every Saturday from 9:00a to 3:00p. Once schedules are established, they do not frequently change. Participation in weekly staff meetings and marketing tasks is mandatory and are paid administrative hours. This position reports directly to the Waterfront Director. Available to expand work hours as caseload grows. We use DermaQuest and Osea skincare lines.

You will help our guests look and feel their best with appropriate recommendations, solid product knowledge, skin analysis, and education. Responsibilities
•Build and maintain aesthetic client relationships, seeing a minimum of 20+ clients per week.
•Educate clients on skincare treatments and products.
•Provide treatment-appropriate recommendations.
•Demonstrate a professional, safe, and sanitary work area.
•Work collaboratively with other providers within the company.
•Arrive on time for shifts and maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
•Regularly participate in marketing efforts to build and maintain client caseloads. This may include attending professional referral groups, social media contributions, newsletter, website, or blog contributions - Up to 2 hours per week paid time.
•Maintain professional look, conduct, and hygiene.
•Complete required SOAP note charting and sign all charts within 24 hours.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. •Possess esthetician license or certification and US Work Authorization
•2+ years of experience in the field of esthetics preferred
•Experience with Osea and DermaQuest a plus, or 'clean beauty'
•Expertise in skin care treatments such as facials, cleansing, exfoliating, extraction, microdermabrasion, and waxing
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
•Passion for holistic, natural skincare
