Travel CT Technologist - $2,707 per week

Certification Details Required: ARRT (CT), BLS. Preferred: Oregon licensure, and ARRT registered in one or both of either the CT and/or MRI. Job Details Performs duties directly involved with a variety of special technical procedures, performed with the CT scanner and MRI. Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients, physicians, and co-workers. Performs all duties of a CT and MRI Technologist. Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress and gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians. Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications. Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards. Trained in transferring images from CT or MRI modality into PACS. Job Requirements ARRT registered in one or both of either the CT and/or MRI registries. Licensed in the State of Oregon. Has qualifications and experience determined to be adequate by Director of department and lead technologist to operate equipment and evaluate images obtained. High school diploma or equivalent. Schedule Information One Tech for 8 hr shifts working 3p-11:30p. Call Rotation - travelers rotate call four weekdays one week, with the weekend off, and then off the next four weekdays and on the weekend. Unit Specific Information Work shifts: Friday-Monday; D8s on Friday/Monday, D12s on Saturday/Sunday. Physical/mental demands: Medium to very heavy physical demand (lifting and moving patients 100 to 300 lbs), must be able to work independently as well as with patients, hospital staff, and physicians. Additional Details GE CT EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. HOUSING IS VERY DIFFICULT WITH PETS - SPECIAL HOUSING FINDS REQUIRED PRIOR TO PLACEMENT.
