Therapist-Substance Use Disorder (PT)

Combining exceptional clinical skills and faith, the SUD Therapist at Encompass Christian Counseling compassionately works with clients to provide mental health and substance use counseling services to clients.

Part-time Therapists have a minimum weekly productivity expectation of 10 billable hours.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work (Master's preferred) or Master's degree in Counseling.
Ohio Clinical licensure required: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC (independent license strongly preferred).
Experience treating individuals with substance use diagnoses and facilitating substance use therapeutic groups preferred. SUD certification/license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

TEAM first.
Provide individual and/or family mental health counseling and appropriate and effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions according to the client's treatment plan.
Complete MHAs, including accurate mental health diagnoses. Complete treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with client.
Completes a level of care (LOC) assessment during intake to determine client substance use treatment needs.
Complete timely and well-written documentation. Progress notes should be completed and signed daily, or within 24 hours for billing purposes.
Participate in Peer/case review, supervision, and other quality improvement activities.
