Title: Director, Marketing Company Background Florence Health is a technology-driven health care company. The company takes total cost of care risk for patients in partnership with the government and other payers, and leverages its proprietary technology to improve primary care outcomes through a network of independent affiliated practices as well as select staff-model Florence-branded clinics operated with strategic partners. The Company's core technology platform, Nightingale, is the result of years of R&D in the areas of health care data and patient records. Role Responsibilities and Goals: [1] Ownership and accountability for everything outward-facing at the company, including but not limited to: website, digital channels, non-digital channels, business development collateral, and other media. (Note: the role will include ultimate decision-making on what channels to use and prioritize in the first place, as well as ownership of design/production talent procurement and oversight.) [2] The goal of the role is to drive the Company's overarching growth KPIs, in the below order of priority: (i) Core business development (i.e., our growth team in the field growing our partnership base of health care providers & patients on the platform) (ii) Talent recruitment (i.e., helping attract the best candidates to want to join the team through what they see and hear) (iii) Capital and strategic partners (i.e., partnering with our Corporate Development to drive future capital markets and strategic partner opportunities) The position will report directly to the CEO, and will collaborate closely with both the CEO and Head of Corporate Development. Role Qualifications and Skills Required: [1] Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, including at least one role with C-Suite exposure and high-pressure accountability/execution expectations spanning more than one marketing channel/facet [2] Ambition to help create a great company by driving and developing a top-performing marketing team, without being deterred or put off by the amount of work or challenges along the way [3] A "think for yourself" mindset, including not scared of being contrarian when justified Additional Qualifications: - Ability to synthesize new information/concepts quickly required, but health care and value-based care domain expertise not required - High EQ as well as IQ - An up-to-date knowledge and fluency with current marketing toolsets Role Benefits & Compensation [1] Stock option grants, giving access to substantial upside commensurate with contribution [2] Competitive salary, bonus and standard benefits [3] Unique opportunity to work alongside dynamic leaders with a clear vision, committed to building a great company with substantial upside for key contributors What to expect in the interview process for this role: This post was published on October 23rd, 2023, and the company is aiming to finalize offers by mid-December if not sooner. Only full-time onsite candidates are being considered for this role (no remote hires), although additional relocation compensation is included for out-of-market candidates.
