We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts, enabling them to assist clients in accurately preparing their tax returns. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.

\*Tax Preparer Duties\*

- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.

- Analyze financial documents to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

- Provide guidance to clients on tax-related inquiries and financial concepts.

- Utilize accounting software such as ATX and Quickbooks for accurate data entry and reporting.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax legislation and public accounting practices.

- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information for tax preparation.

- Review completed tax returns for accuracy before submission.

\*Tax Preparer Experience\*

- Proven experience in technical accounting or tax preparation is preferred.

- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.

- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.

- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building client relationships.

- Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly ATX and Quickbooks or similar programs.

- A solid understanding of financial concepts and market trends related to taxation.
