Job Description We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to use detailed data lineage mapping documents to test and debug ETL scripts and Synapse pipelines. This position will be Full-Time and Remote. This opportunity exists within our CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions business unit, all candidates in consideration of positions within CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions must be able to self-disclose that they identify as neurodivergent. What You’ll Do Review data lineage mapping documents to understand requirements Test and debug ETL scripts in PySpark and SQL using Databricks based on requirements Test and debug Synapse pipelines based on requirements Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses Develop and update technical documentation to support the ETL process Assist and troubleshoot issues with query scripts Collaborate with fellow team members in agile ceremonies What You'll Need Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or relevant experience within related field Experience with database technologies testing such as SQL query building, ETL concepts, cloud-based data solutions, and business intelligence solutions Experience with software development in Python Experience developing and delivering products in a collaborative, Agile / SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) environment Proficiency in basic computer skills (use of MS products; Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Preferred: Experience with ETL Workflows and documenting data process flows/transformation rules Experience with PySpark, DataBricks, Synapse, or MS Fabric Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person Reasonable Accommodation Statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.
