We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining healthcare integration solutions using Mirth Connect. This role requires expertise in Mirth Connect, HL7 standards, and healthcare interoperability protocols. The Software Engineer will collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements, design efficient solutions, and ensure seamless data exchange across various healthcare systems.

Responsibilities: Develop and customize healthcare integration solutions using Mirth Connect. Design, configure, and deploy interfaces to facilitate data exchange between disparate healthcare systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand integration needs. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documentation. Implement and maintain HL7 interfaces, including message parsing, transformation, and routing. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to interface functionality, performance, and connectivity. Perform testing and validation of interfaces to ensure accuracy and reliability of data exchange. Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams during implementation and integration phases. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare integration. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and team meetings. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience working as a Mirth Developer or similar role in healthcare IT. In-depth knowledge of Mirth Connect, including channel development, scripting, and administration. Proficiency in HL7 standards (HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3, FHIR) and healthcare interoperability protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP). Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, terminology, and regulatory requirements. Experience with healthcare information systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). Familiarity with database concepts and SQL queries (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL,). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications:

Mirth Connect certification. Experience with other integration platforms such as Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, or Inter Systems Health Share. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Groovy. Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN). Experience with cloud-based healthcare integration solutions (Azure, AWS). Understanding of security standards and practices in healthcare IT (HIPAA, HITECH) Additional Details:
