We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate T-Licensed Practical Nurse (T-LPN) to join our team. As a T-LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to travel to different locations and provide essential nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
  • Assist with the implementation of patient care plans and provide basic nursing care
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients by attending to their physical and emotional needs
  • Perform routine procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting samples for lab testing, and assisting with medical examinations
  • Document patient information, including medical histories, symptoms, and treatments, accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and provide support and guidance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Stay updated with current healthcare practices and participate in continuous education programs

Requirements

  • Valid LPN license in the state of practice
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN
  • Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
  • Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Valid BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Assignment Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Pay rate: $1,360@40hrs weekly

Class/Area: Travel LPN

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 8 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Shift and Time:Morning: 3:00pm-11:30PM

License Required: LPN compact license, PA License.

Certificates Required: BLS
