Job Description<p><ul><li>Implements shipping and receiving strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, cost and profitability</li><li>Oversees the preparation of all shipping and receiving documents and data entry to ensure accuracy and timeliness</li><li>Manages and assists with shipping, loading trucks, checking materials or product, and matches ASN and BOM</li><li>Manages dock traffic and ensures that all logistics suppliers follow appropriate policies and procedures</li><li>Accountable for shipping and receiving key performance metrics and provides guidance to shipping and receiving associates to ensure scorecard objectives are met</li><li>Oversees customer product documents, work orders, shipping and/or receiving orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, staged or shipped</li><li>Coordinates with key stakeholders to meet internal and external customer on-time-delivery demands</li><li>Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence</li><li>Provides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and hourly shipping and receiving team, working closely with direct reports</li><li>Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><b>Education &amp; Experience </b><br /><ul><li>High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities </b><br /><ul><li>Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products</li><li>Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components</li><li>Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods</li><li>Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle</li><li>Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility</li></ul><br /><b>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment </b><br /><ul><li>Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting</li><li>Frequent walking and standing required</li><li>Occasional travel required</li><li>Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.</li></ul><p>#LI-CB1<p>All Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations.
