Position: Inventory Control Clerk Location: HUNTERSVILLE, NC Job Id: 174 # of Openings: 0 The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining a perpetual inventory of material, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items for a manufacturing and distribution company. In conjunction with the Shipping and Receiving team, the Inventory Clerk manages the stocking levels, production and WIP (work in progress) stock, and other warehouse support duties to ensure that supplies are available as needed for continued production. Work Location: Huntersville, North Carolina (Charlotte Metro Area) Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Travel: Not required Primary Job Responsibilities : Daily duties of the role include but are not limited to

• Responsible for pulling pick orders for production WIP and maintaining the stock level in WIP bins on serial production lines
• Restocks supplies and initiates purchase reorder for needed shop supplies
• Responsible for organization and labeling of shelves and bins as required
• Supports warehouse duties in receiving: Receives, unpacks, and inspects deliveries for shortages and damaged goods. Delivers goods to appropriate locations/persons.
• Housekeeping: Responsible for the organization and housekeeping of the warehouse (specifically inventory storage and common areas. Area housekeeping procedures should be maintained
• Safety: Responsible for area safety and wearing/using proper PPE
• Responsible to perform a visual inspection of parts to ensure visible imperfections are caught and communicated prior to release to a customer Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements: A qualified candidate must possess
• Strong desire to learn and grow in the manufacturing/distribution field
• Good understanding of computers comfortable learning new programs
• Basic mechanical aptitude
