LOCATION: 1 Position in Swainsboro, GA (Emanuel County) and 1 Position in Waynesboro, GA (Burke County)

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct and collateral substance abuse services in a group setting, per program standards, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
  2. Complete services consistent with the requirements outlined by CSBMG, DBHDD, HFR, and applicable entities, which includes documentation to be completed as outlined per CSBMG policy.
  3. Provide support to substance abuse clients and assist with recovery resources.
  4. Provide individual sessions as needed.
  5. Complete all documentation in a timely manner according to standards.
  6. Obtain and maintain credentials and provide proof to supervisor and HR.
  7. Facilitate Substance Abuse Groups.
  8. Collaborate with the court system and probation officer when necessary and with proof of release of information.
  9. Attend all supervision requirements for your certification.
  10. Completes various other duties as assigned, such as, but not limited to:
    1. Group
    2. SA Intakes

Education/Experience:

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree in a related field,
    • Level 2 Addiction Counselor certification (CADC-II or CAC-II),
    • Experience working with people with substance use disorders,
    • Experience working with WTRS.
  • Required (Base) Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent documentation,
    • Seeking Addiction Counselor certification (CADC-T or CAC-T)

Pay varies depending on whether the candidate is seeking certification or is already fully certified, has experience working with substance abuse, and their level of education.
