SITE ELECTRICIAN
INTRODUCTION
With continued business growth and expanding engineering initiatives, We have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Site Electrician.
As part of the facilities team, the Site Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems as needed for the facilities.
JOB TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the overall facilities team, your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment and fixtures including 3 phase voltages up to and including 480VAC.
  • Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on systems and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, Piping and Instrument Diagrams, drawings and manufacturer manuals.
  • Adhere to Safety and Environmental procedures.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures, job plans and/or equipment manuals.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal form.
  • Assist with modification, installation and startup of new and existing equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining training curriculum requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associated degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Unlimited Licenses.
  • 5 years of experience as an electrician.
  • Experience with 480VAC, 3 Phase, electrical systems and wiring.
  • Experience with bending/running conduit and supports.
  • Experience with lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Proven skills, experience and expertise in problem solving and troubleshooting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience as an electrician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with 480VAC buss duct systems.
  • Experience with lighting retrofits (transitioning from fluorescent to LED).

Location
This position will be based at our Creedmoor, NC office.
Terms of employment
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.
Hours
The general hours shall be Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute break for lunch.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. Work is regularly performed in a manufacturing environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 80 pounds.
Travel
Minimal travel may be required.
