<strong>Vulnerability Management - Security Analyst</strong><br><br>Raritan, NJ<br><br>Long-term contract<br><br>Life Sciences Industry<br><br>We are seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst with a Fortune Life Sciences organization located in Raritan, NJ. As a Security Analyst, you will work alongside the information security and risk management team to assess and remediate vulnerabilities in workstations. In this role you will collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and configurations, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.<br><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology</li><li>3+ years' experience in conducting vulnerability assessments, workstation remediation, security testing and data analysis</li><li>Strong knowledge of security tools and methodologies (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, InsightVM, Tanium, Microsoft Defender etc.)</li><li>Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell)</li><li>Knowledge of network protocols and technologies preferred</li><li>Demonstrated passion and continuous learning for the security industry</li></ul><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br>&bull; Assess and remediate vulnerabilities in workstations. Collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and configurations, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards<br>&bull; Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using automated tools and manual techniques. Analyze results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and impact.<br>&bull; Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents. Provide expertise in identifying root causes and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.<br>&bull; Prepare detailed reports and presentations on security assessments, findings, and remediation activities. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br>&bull; Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal security policies. Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and best practices.<br>&bull; Design and execute breach attack simulations to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and incident response procedures.
