Harvard Resource Solutions was recently engaged in a new search for a Receptionist on a direct hire basis for our real estate client located in Southfield, MI.

Location: Southfield, MI

Schedule : 7:00am - 5:00pm (50 hour work week - will be compensated for over time)

Position Description

Job Summary:

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and visitors, responsible for greeting, assisting, and managing communications to ensure smooth office operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greeting Guests: Welcome and direct clients and visitors, ensuring they feel valued.
  • Communication Management: Handle phone calls, messages, and appointment scheduling.
  • Mail & Deliveries: Manage incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Administrative Support: Perform clerical tasks like filing, recordkeeping, and data entry.
  • Supply Management: Monitor and reorder office supplies as needed.
  • Office Maintenance: Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Collaboration: Support a positive team environment.
  • Other Duties: Handle additional tasks as needed.

Requirements for Duties for Receptionist

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Communication: Strong verbal skills for diverse interactions.
  • Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite ( MS Teams and Outlook)

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
