Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibility:

· Responsible for aiding with all daily living activities as well as preventative, therapeutic, and restorative nursing procedures.

· Adheres to Safety and Infection Control Policies and Procedures.

· Communicate with residents and staff in an understandable, honest, and caring manner

· Must be able to safely perform all essential job functions.

· Must maintain Resident unit and work area in clean and safe manner. Perform other tasks as required.

 Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications and Experience:

· CNA Certification must be current and in good standing with the Indiana Nursing Assistant Registry

· Demonstrated compassion for Seniors and their families.

· Experience working in a long-term care setting preferred, with the Senior population or comparable experience.

· Desire and ability to work productively as part of a team to provide Excellent Customer and Clinical Services.

Physical setting:

• Long term care
• Rehabilitation center

Standard shift:

• Day 7a-3p
• Evening 3p-11p
• Midnight 11p-7a

Supplemental schedule:

• Holidays
• Overtime

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
