Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing Shift: nights Employment Type: Staff The role of the NICU Registered Nurse is a critical position that requires a high level of professional expertise. Key responsibilities of the position include providing nursing care to assigned patients, which involves assessing patient needs, developing and documenting individualized nursing care plans, and administering medications and interventions as necessary. In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, the NICU Registered Nurse is also responsible for supervising and guiding nursing attendants and ancillary staff to ensure that patient care activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
