Waldorf University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Physics . This will be a full-time, nine-month, tenure track appointment with an anticipated start date of August 2025.* Expectations for this position include lab science courses in General Physics and Physical Science, as well as courses in mathematics. The ideal candidate will be skilled and interested in working with undergraduate students, have the ability to relate to students at all levels, engage in the assessment of student learning, service to the program, natural science division, and the university.

Candidates should possess the following:
  1. A doctoral degree or ABD.
  2. Significant graduate hours in Physics and/or a related field of study is preferred.
  3. Applicants with a master's degree will be considered for a full-time non-tenure track position.
  4. Evidence of excellence in teaching
  5. Excellent classroom communication skills.
  6. Commitment and enthusiasm for the welfare of undergraduate students.
  7. Commitment and enthusiasm for continued professional development including involvement of undergraduate students in research.
