We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Finance Operational Leader to join our billing team. The Senior Manager of Billing Operations will play a crucial role in jointly managing day-to-day operations and enhancing our internal and external reporting to achieve superior standards of excellence. This individual will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all billing processes, directly contributing to the financial health and operational excellence of the company.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), billing accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing validation checks, data cleansing, and reconciliation activities. Troubleshoot data and calculations for errors/omission.
  • Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Liaison with cross-functional managers across Billing, Sales Operations, IT, and Customer Success Teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Support Billing Ops leadership on key projects and activities, including tracking and managing action items and issue resolution as needed.
  • Support key projects aimed to improve and optimize Billing Operations and execute on campaigns to drive enablement of the Billing Operations Strategy.
  • Develop / Co-develop the implementation of best practices and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred. 3 - 5 years of Quote to Cash operations experience, ideally at a Global/Publicly Traded Software SaaS/Hardware company. Deep experience, capability and orientation working with data to drive decisions. Experience implementing process changes and automation. Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and presentation skills. Experience in a collaborative, fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, scaling environment. Highly motivated and results driven, self-starter, operating with a sense of urgency and values accountability.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • In-depth knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce platforms, and any certification with NetSuite and Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with scripting, querying, or statistical programming (SQL and/or Python preferred).
  • Strong understanding of billing systems, revenue recognition principles, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, vlookups, conditionals).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization."Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term initiatives while managing day-to-day operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and billing platforms (e.g., Zuora, Salesforce Billing) is a plus.
