Family Counselor

Entech Staffing is searching for a passionate and dedicated Youth and Family Counselor to join our client's team in Royal Oak, MI. In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting homeless youth and their families through our Runaway Homeless Youth (RHY) programs. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

About the Role:

Provide individual, family, group, and conjoint counseling to youth ages 10-24. Develop individualized plans of service and participate in treatment planning. Offer intensive case management and 24-hour intervention to clients in the Sanctuary program. Maintain client records, complete paperwork, and make referrals as needed. Collaborate with other staff, agencies, and community partners. Uphold agency values and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for clients and staff. Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology. Licensed in the State of Michigan (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LLP). Minimum of 1 year experience counseling teens, young adults, and families. Trauma-informed principles and experience working with diverse populations. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps. Preferred Qualifications:

Lived or professional experience working with homelessness. Experience in youth counseling and the social services landscape in Oakland County. Training in HMIS, Harm Reduction, Trauma Informed Care, Housing First, and SPDAT. Experience working with diverse clients and teams. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. High emotional intelligence and unwavering integrity.
