• Provide exceptional technical leadership.

• Design, debug, and integrate hardware solutions with FW and SW.
• Resolve customer issues with current products
• Implement changes to improve manufacturability, reduce cost, improve performance.
• Propose and create proof of concept writeups for new ideas of improving existing products or creating new products
• Execute on proposed project plans and demand resources to move projects forward that have most likelihood of success in the innovation and cost reduction spaces.
Requirements
What you need to succeed:

  • Demonstrate strong fundamental skills in the area of electrical design, architecture, and component selection.
  • Excellent teamwork and positive communication skills. Own mistakes, drive process improvements and bias to action in all aspects of work.
  • You must succeed at the intersection of firmware and hardware in an accelerated development environment.
  • Expert knowledge of both Layout and Schematic capture using industry tools such as Altium, Orcad or Mentor Graphics toolchain.
  • Strong simulation fundamentals for electrical circuit noise analysis and analog front-end design
  • Ability to run systems through testing and compliance such as FCC, UL, TUV certifications
  • 5-10+ years of Schematic capture and PCB design experience for high reliability applications or industrial applications
  • Close collaboration with mechanical and firmware design teams to produce world class products
  • Basic bare metal C programming experience for testing hardware interfaces
  • Python scripting knowledge for testing
  • Strong fundamental EE skills and circuit analysis
  • Experience with prototyping solutions and bench testing methodology
  • Superior communication skills, ability to communicate complex ideas to management and other disciplines
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or related scientific field.
