Adaptive Reuse AND/OR Multifamily Project Experience

Position Overview:

The Superintendent will oversee and manage the daily operations of multifamily and/or adaptive reuse construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, extensive construction knowledge, and the ability to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to project closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Site Management: Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide training and mentorship to team members. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other project partners. Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients. Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs. Manage procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery. Allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily or adaptive reuse projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend). OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
