Sr. Tax Manager (Pottsville, PA) - RMW Accounting

Job Title: Senior Tax Manager                                        Location: Pottsville, PA (Lettich and Zipay Office)

Annual Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience)

The RMW Accounting division is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Tax Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our Pottsville, PA office. Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our tax compliance, planning, and reporting activities.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage tax compliance for clients
• Provide strategic tax planning advice
• Conduct financial analysis to optimize tax strategies - Ensure accurate preparation of tax returns
• Collaborate with clients to address tax-related queries
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations

Requirements:        

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree (e.g., MST) preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax compliance, planning, and accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with tax provision software (e.g., UltraTax) and ERP systems (e.g., Practice CS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
