PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
Surgical Cardiac Telemetry Unit, myocardial infarction, rule out MI, Primary arrhythmias, pre/post open-heart surgery patients, vascular surgery patients, coronary artery disease, heart failure, pre/post cath lab with or without interventions, stroke patients with cardiac involvement
SPECIAL PROCEDURES:
Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPap, Trach Care
Blood/Blood Products Administration
Cardioversion / Defibrillation, Epicardial Pacer Management
LVAD/Impella, Open Heart 24-28 hours Post-Op
Tele Interpretation - Dysrhythmia Interpretation and management
Hard Stop REQUIRED - Surgical Telemetry -(open heart surgery experience and vascular ( groin)radial band management, IV skills, NIH 2-3 years telemetry experience; optional- VAD, TAVR experience)

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:
Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, Antiarrhythmics, Beta Blockers, Cardizem, Hydralazine, Ketamine, Lasix, Nicardipine, Nitroglycerin, Stable drips
CERTS: ACLS, BCLS, NIH all required

All candidates who were a previous perm employee of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. No exceptions.
Floating: All travelers are expected to float to another unit within their scop of practice if needed. The facility has a designated float team that floats first however, in the event there is a need at another campus travelers will float first before perm staff. All facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. In the event that the traveler needs to float, it their responsibility to find transportation to the facility they’re floated to. Traveler’s refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
