As a Speech Therapist, you will provide speech therapy services to designated students, collaborate with other professionals, and participate in team meetings and conferences as indicated.
- Evaluating, planning, and implementing appropriate individualized speech therapy programs for each student
- Monitoring services and providing progress information
- Employing speech therapy strategies and techniques during each session to improve the development of speech and communication skills
- Writing periodic reviews on students' progress
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication with families
- Conducting and/or overseeing clinical assessments and treatment program recommendations
- Improving clinical quality standards by conducting employee training sessions
Qualifications Required:
- Master's degree or higher in speech pathology or a closely related field
- Hold currently, or have the ability to obtain a state speech language pathology (SLP) license
- Prior experience working with students in an educational setting and implementing effective treatment plans
- Effective oral and written communication
- Well-versed in the use of relevant technology
