Registered Nurse (RN) (FT, PT, PRN, and Temporary Contract)

NaphCare is hiring  Registered Nurses (RNs)  just like you at the  Washoe County Jail  located in  Reno, Nevada . We have opportunities for full-time with great benefits, part-time, PRN, and 13-week temporary contracts available ! Pay rates range from $39.00 - $48.75 per hour based on shift, site needs, licensure and experience.

Position Description:

• Take and document all patient history and vital signs.
• Perform and document all patient history and vital signs, mental health screenings and/or evaluations.
• Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies.
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment.
• Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement.
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility.
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff.
