ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Role and responsibilities

Manage project’s triple constraint of scope, time, and resource

Report regularly on project status and Communicate upward and downward

Collaborate and communicate effectively with program management and other project members to provide assistance and support

Hold regular meetings to provide information, identify interdependencies, secure cross-sector alignment and agreements

Align with other projects on regular basis to ensure on time cross-project delivery

Work with architects to define the project scope and required budget

Define deliverables for engineering team

Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Set up a team structure that reflects the work content

Assess, manage, and address technical risk based on team input from architects and design engineers

Understand proper escalation paths for project and execute on needed basis

Delegate tasks and follow up

Keep daily control of project execution

Manage escalation

Manage change request and respond with impact assessment

Monitor overall quality of the Project deliverables

Understand business context of Project’s delivery and goal

Education and experience

B.S. and above in computer science, engineering, physics, or other engineering fields. B.S with 5 years of relevant experience; M.S. with 3 years of relevant experience; Ph.D with 2 years relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience with new product development, SW development, and customer interaction

Experience in developing, managing, or defining requirements for complex equipment software

Experience in working with cross function teams and driving consensus among different stakeholders.

Experience in working with or managing one or more of the following software area: equipment system control, image processing algorithm, Windows UI, software testing and releasing.

Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus

Other information

This position is located on-site in San Jose, California. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. (Important to insert additional onsite language specific to the role: i.e., inspection, specific training and supervision, etc.)

A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days a week.

Role within Office

Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $145,125-$241,875. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
