CCH is expanding our staff, and this may be a great opportunity for you to join our team. CCH participates in the NHSC Loan Repayment Program AND the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF)
The Psychiatrist is a Medical Doctor highly trained in a range of mental health conditions who is licensed to diagnose, and prescribe medications to treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses while focusing on health promotion and maintenance. The Psychiatrist works collectively with a care team and must treat within the scope of practice for the State of Michigan.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must possess a valid Michigan licensure as a Medical Doctor and be eligible for appropriate credentialing.
Must meet all Continuing Education requirements.
Prior treatment experience working with people with serious mental illness required; prior experience working in a community mental health or FQHC setting preferred
Must be able to work cooperatively with staff and others involved in the delivery of service to patients
BLS and ACLS preferred
Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting critical deadlines.
Must maintain confidentiality relating to treatment in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Knowledge of PCMH
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
