Responsibilities

As the world's leading mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise engineering provider we deliver trusted engineering capabilities to our nation's security and provide solutions which keep our nation safe. The Space and Intelligence Sector is seeking a Senior-Level Systems Engineer to work within our dynamic Enterprise Engineering team in Chantilly VA. The Enterprise Engineering team supports the Government by providing systems engineering and integration support for NGA's Sensor Integration (TIS) Office . This team provides strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture. This position is on our NSG Electro-Optical Ground Commercial (NEOG-C) team. Candidate will work on a team providing strategic and innovative solutions for integrating leading edge commercial GEOINT data, products, and analytic services within the Enterprise. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with customers that are both Government and industry leaders and technology innovators.

The NEOG-C embedded IPA engineer shall have the following responsibilities:

• Attend all IPA technical meetings acting as the NEOG -C liaison
• Interact with NEOG-C PMO and contractor team to gather needs for IPA and to report IPA advancements for NEOG-C
• Gain a technical understanding of IPA programs, capabilities, and planned advancements
• Generate technical documents and provide technical information to IPA to support NEOG-C interests
• Provide IPA technical information and access to IPA SMEs to support NEOG-C planning and artifact development
• Support NEOG-C systems engineering activities: requirements generation, architecture definition, modeling/simulation activities, risk management, schedule management, and RFC development
• Facilitate NEOG-C / IPA TEMs and other information sharing activities
• Support and integrate Digital Engineering activities
Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
• 12+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
• Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
