Overview:

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to be part of our Pharmacy Team in Hendersonville, NC. No nights or weekends! Pay starting at $19.20 hourly. Higher compensation considered based upon experience. What We Offer You:: 403(b) retirement account with company matching What You'll Do:: The pharmacy technician will assist the pharmacist with all aspects of accurately dispensing medications while providing exceptional customer service to clinic patients. Responsibilities include: Prepare medications and supplies for dispensing.

Assist with inventory management.

Accountable for ensuring all monthly inventory tasks are completed by pharmacy staff, including counts, returns, checking for out of dates, and other duties as assigned.

Completes all administrative tasks as assigned, including but not limited to: operating the fax machine, receiving and sending mail, and other forms of correspondence.

What We're Looking For::

High school diploma or equivalent. Certification/Licensure Specific Requirements: Eligible to register with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred. Must be able to read and generate written medical communication and documentation.

Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisor or other collaborative community agencies.

Ability to communicate any real or potential problems to appropriate risk management staff.

Builds a positive work environment by working cooperatively within department and with other areas through teamwork, interpersonal skills, and personal improvement/initiative.

Strong interest in working with an interdisciplinary healthcare team and culturally diverse patient population Bilingual a plus
