Job Summary:
Interim Healthcare of Mercer is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)  for an immediate part-time position in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. This individual will be responsible for providing personal care and companionship services to clients in their homes. Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time hourly position with a competitive hourly rate of $20 to $22 per hour. Employees will be paid weekly and may be eligible for additional benefits such as sick time. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare field and make a meaningful difference in the community.
Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• Act as a companion to clients, engaging in conversation, playing games, or accompanying them on outings
• Maintain confidential and accurate client records
• Communicate any changes in clients’ conditions to supervisor, nurse, or family members
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
• Attend required training and educational sessions
Requirements:
• Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of New Jersey
• 1-2 years of experience providing personal care services
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
