The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong background in metal fabrication, and a passion for fostering continual growth within their team. As the Fabrication Shop Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our fabrication shop, ensuring excellence in execution, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><ul><li>Lead and inspire a team of technicians and fabricators, guiding them through the successful execution of fabrication projects.</li><li>Coordinate and optimize project activities, ensuring efficient workflow and strict adherence to project schedules.</li><li>Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and resolving any issues that arise.</li><li>Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring all work complies with regulations and company policies.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks, maintaining rigorous standards of excellence.</li><li>Maintain detailed project documentation and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.</li><li>Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.</li><li>Provide continuous training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of professional development and growth.</li></ul><br>Qualifications:<br><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of fabrication techniques, systems, and processes.</li><li>Proven experience in welding.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in people management.</li><li>Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on empowering and developing team members.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach.</li><li>Experience with project management software and tools is preferred.</li></ul><br>Education:<br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Fabrication, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Relevant certifications in fabrication or project management are a plus.</li></ul><br>What We Offer:<br><ul><li>Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and collaborative environment.</li><li>The chance to work on innovative and impactful fabrication projects.</li><li>A company culture that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><br>How to Apply:<br><br>Interested candidates are invited to submit their resumes and cover letters to jocelyn.w@kaitechautomation.com with the subject line "Fabrication Shop Foreman Application-[Your Name]."
