Pay range is $27 - $30+ per hour based on experience

Lanco Integrated is seeking a Service Technician I to join our growing team. Our Service Technician’s assist in servicing custom assembly automation from the ground up, working with cutting edge equipment and technology across a broad range of industries. Travel is required 40-60% of the time. When in the field traveling, we pay a 10% premium to your pay rate. 
Service Technician I Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service on customer site (travel required)
  • Work closely with Lanco’s multi-national customers 
  • Requires travel both Domestic and International
  • Repair and troubleshoot state of the art automation machinery
  • Document steps taken in the field
  • Produce service reports with follow up steps if necessary
  • Create action plans for follow ups
  • Aide in system and station installation
  • Production support and analysis
  • May require nonstandard hours
  • Service contract fulfillment. Teaming with Project Manager/Service Manager for specific goals to be accomplished each visit.
  • Logging customer inquiries and working on outstanding issues
  • RMA- Issuing return authorization
  • Primary function to work on open issues as directed
  • Secondary function to work in manufacturing to help complete the automated assembly machines that will be serviced in the future.
  • Organization and assembly of materials prior to field installation
  • Work with engineering, software and manufacturing to complete open issues on assembly systems in the field 
  • Document changes from field work and follow through to ensure engineering update

Service Technician I Qualifications:
  • A.S. in Mechanical or Electrical discipline and/or 3-5 years direct work experience
  • Remote support connectivity; PC setup for PLC (minimum)
  • Complete in-house training
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 or more pounds
  • Occasional reaching, stretching, and pulling overhead
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, or crouching
