GENERAL SUMMARY:
As the Senior Ultrasound Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations and serve as a resource for ultrasound staff. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasounds and supporting the Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Coordinate daily schedules to ensure efficient patient flow
- Provide support for staff in acquiring optimal images
- Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
- Conduct leadership and conflict resolution
- Participate in interview processes and training of new staff/students
- Utilize hospital computer systems for order verification and scheduling
- Engage in effective communication with medical staff, management, and support staff
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
- 3-5 years' clinical experience at the sonographer level
- Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers
