GENERAL SUMMARY:
As the Senior Ultrasound Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations and serve as a resource for ultrasound staff. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasounds and supporting the Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Coordinate daily schedules to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Provide support for staff in acquiring optimal images
  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
  • Conduct leadership and conflict resolution
  • Participate in interview processes and training of new staff/students
  • Utilize hospital computer systems for order verification and scheduling
  • Engage in effective communication with medical staff, management, and support staff

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' clinical experience at the sonographer level
  • Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers
