Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profits.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized tax planning strategies.
• Review and finalize adjusting entries for business clients ahead of tax return preparation.
• Mentor and review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• Certifications: CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation, including individual, corporate, and partnership returns.
• Specialization: Experience in agriculture and ranching is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in tax software (Lacerte), QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
• Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with clients and colleagues. Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
