We're seeking a skilled Senior Storeroom Technician - R&D Lead to manage MRO inventory and operations at our UOP Research & Pilot Plant facility in McCook, IL. Key responsibilities include inventory management, equipment operation, sample shipping, and leading snow removal efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manage MRO inventory daily, conducting cycle counts, generating restocking requisitions, and overseeing open purchase orders.
•Operate all storeroom equipment proficiently, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and docking equipment.
•Ensure timely and accurate processing and delivery of all materials handled by the storeroom.
•Prepare and ship samples and packages promptly, meeting all shipment and FIA request deadlines.
•Handle hazardous shipments, including attending DOT and IATA training courses.
•Coordinate daily shipment of chemical samples between Riverside and Des Plaines sites.
•Prepare and ship non-hazardous packages and letters using FedEx and DHL couriers.
•Assist with snow crew/removal responsibilities and oversee snow removal contractor management.
•Follow all established safety procedures and protocols.
•Lift up to 35 pounds 
•Operate material lifts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

YOU MUST HAVE:
• Valid Illinois driver’s license is required for forklift operation.
WE VALUE:
• High School Diploma or GED 
• 3+ years of shipping, receiving and storeroom experience. 
• Knowledge/experience of SAP is highly desired.
• Organize and self-driven mindset.
• Experience and skill working with hand tools.
• Forklift driving and operating experience.
• Understanding and use of Microsoft Word and Excel
